At our partnership with Rowan University, we are proud to have custom-designed and built advanced hydroponic and aquaponic systems for their sustainable agriculture learning lab. Each week, the university harvests fresh produce from these systems and donates it to the on-campus food pantry, providing vital support to students facing financial hardship. This initiative not only enhances food security but also offers students invaluable hands-on in sustainable farming, fish care, and management. Together, we are fostering a future and empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Brookdale Community College - Lincroft, NJ
We are proud to partner with the Center for Adult Transition (C.A.T.) program at Brookdale Community College to deliver an interactive hydroponics and horticultural training program. This hands-on initiative is specifically designed for neurodiverse young adults aged 18–24, focusing on building independent living and vocational skills. Students manage an indoor farm, where they learn valuable lessons in science and engineering while taking pride in their work. The greens they harvest are used in cooking classes within the center's state-of-the-art kitchen, allowing them to create healthy recipes and a smooth transition into long-term employment or community engagement through customized Individual Development Plans.
